Foodies just can't resist the urge to search for new recipes. So, here I am with my first blog sharing new casserole idea with you all.

You will only found food and Sikkimese cuisine on this page since the sikkimese food is a rich mixture of Nepalese, Tibetan and native food of Sikkim. Sikkimes cuisine is full of Flavours and is based on rice and maize mainly. It is one of the reasons that most of the dishes made is Sikkimese cuisine have rice and maize in some form or the other.

So our first dish is as follows:-

#1. Kinema Curry

A unique dish, the star ingredient of this dish is fermented soya bean. It is one of the most popular dishes of the state for its taste as well as it's high protein value. This is a great food for the vegetarians visiting the state.

You guys must be wondering that the recipe is quite difficult even I found it a little difficult but believe me it is an easy nut to crack.
So here is the easiest way to make this fabulous dish:
Ingredients
250g fermented soybean (kinema)
1 onion, chopped
1 tomato, sliced
3 green chillies
1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
1tsp salt

Recipe:
Heat oil and add chopped onions and fry till it becomes tender.
Add tomatoes and turmeric powder and fry for two minutes.
Add kinema and fry well. Once it's fried, add salt, sliced green chillies and fry for three to five minutes.
Add a little water to make a thick curry, and cook for five to seven minutes.
Serve hot with rice.

Hope you all will enjoy this. Do give it a try and believe me it is very easy.Stay tuned for more and think what will be the #2 πŸ˜‰.
